NCAA basketball betting has USC as 4 1/2 point underdog tonight when they face CAL (7:30 pm). These two teams are heading in opposite directions. The Bears (20-7, 9-5 Pac-10) have won four out of their last five games, while the Trojans (16-10, 7-7 Pac-10) have lost four of their last five. USC is sixth in the conference with four games remaining until the Pac-10 tournament.

On a bright note, USC locked up its third straight McDonalds’s All-American in three years. 6-foot-11 Fairfax High center Renardo Sidney announced on Sunday that he will attend USC next season. Renardo is considered one of the top big men in this years high school class averaging 24.0 points and 10.3 rebounds for Fairfax this season.
