Pete Fiutak, college football analyst on College Football News, Scout and FoxSports.com was recently asked to pick his college football Team of the Decade. And low and behold, this is how the football-guru answered:

"...I'd have to say USC. Six straight double-digit win seasons, 70 wins over that span, one national title and an AP title. The biggest selling point is a run of six straight BCS games and an all-timer of a performance from Vince Young needed to keep it from being six for six with two national championships."

Yes, Pete Carroll's Trojans topped Fiutak's list, beating out LSU and Ohio State for the team of the decade. He forgot to mention USC's 6-straight Pac-10 titles and the three Heismans, but we'll forgive him.

I'm sure he meant to say two BCS national championships... had we beaten TX, we would have had 3 NCs.

...Unless there was new News about the NCAA and Mr. Bush, Eh that's 3 Heismans. In a span of 4 years (2002-2005) at that! Fight On!
