Nothing quite as pathetic as the attempted optimism of a Bruin:
...most of you know it had been 86 years since the Red Sox had ever won the World Series, which somehow happened last week. In comparison, USChas only beaten UCLA five years in a row. So if those streaks can end, why not UCLA's?

Ummm was this before they lost to Wazzu? The very same Cougars that USC ran up a 35-0 lead on in no time
