Tailback Desmond Reed

Reed has gone from the primary backup to Reggie Bush to a featured player because of his dynamic presence on the field and USC's staggering shortage at tailback. The Trojans expect that LenDale White (high ankle sprain) will try to play January 4 against Oklahoma, but they are counting on Reed regardless of whether White makes it back.
