USC linebacker Rey Maualuga was arrested early Tuesday morning and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after allegedly punching a man during a party near campus, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.

From the editors of this site, who ironically, were both punched in the face by a leather glove-wearing Marcell Allmond (former USC cornerback) back in 2000 — Rey, please — your aggression is best left on the field. It’s way more fun when you’re hitting our opponents, not our students.

Congrats USC on your total domination of those Nittany Lions! Although I am a fervent LSU fan, I always root for the Trojans, unless ya’ll are playing LSU. If I were a top player coming out of high school, I would want to play for Pete Carroll. Joe McNight made a great decision by joining the Trojans instead of staying in-state to play at LSU. I don’t particularly like Les Miles’ holier than thow,milk and cookies, lets all get on our knees and pray attitude. I prefer a coach who’s had a few drinks in his day. Religion has no place in football. That said, I would like to compliment that ass-stomping defense ya’ll unleashed this year. The best I’ve ever seen! I am hopefull that my beloved Saints will add either Brian Cushing or Taylor Mayes to our roster. Too bad we can’t have both, although I prefer the Bergen Flash. Our needs dictate that we target safety first, and Mayes is powerhouse run-stopper with speed. Anyway, just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to watch ya’ll stomp Penn State’s ass, and what a travesty it is that USC isnt playing for all the cherry cheesecakes. I think ya’ll could whip either Oklahoma or Florida. Also, I thought Clay Matthews should have been ur defensive MVP. What a player he is! Good luck next year, and HNY to USC from cotton country in northeast Louisiana.

You guys are dumb…Rey Maualuga is an athlete. so don’t try to knock his hustle..Ya’ll act like ya’ll never been in fights before. With him being an athlete(a popular one) his every action is criticized by the media.
