Polk High

Polk High is where Al Bundy played his legendary high school football, before his life spiraled into dismal mediocrity. Redlands East Valley recruit Chris Polk must have been high to retract his commitment from USC and switch over to Washington. It's not exactly "Everyone Hates Chris" over here, -Polk deserves to go to college and play his ball where ever he wants. But for the kid prized by rivals as the number four all-purpose back in the nation, a kid prized for his good moves, he sure as hell just made a stupid one.

Look, USC "stole" Joe McKnight from LSU and never looked back. And Chris Polk and a seasoned Jake Locker are sure to be a threatening combination. But you don't think after this season DeSean Jackson is rethinking his college choices? What could have been had he decided USC? And when Everson Griffen brings his crushing weight down on Chris Polk, don't you think he might reconsider? Just a little?

No you're right, probably not. He'll be in too much pain to breathe, let alone mull over the past.

Disagree with the post. If you're not a 5-star running back, you shouldn't come to USC unless you're filling a specific need, such as a big-back or fullback. With the depth that USC has, he's better off going elsewhere.
Scott should be the only RB we chase this year.

Next year we can recruit RBs and QBs again. Bring on Barkley and Brown.

Yeah, but a running back/receiver is something that could help, especially with the loss of Fred Davis and Patrick Turner. Sure there's Hazelton, but the duel threat is necessary just to pump up the receiving corps. After Smith and Jarrett left, and especially after Davis and Turner, USC's been fairly depleated.
