No better way to start a Saturday than USC's Band blowing Fanfare. It's so regal.

Matt Barkley, golden boy. This guy is blessed. John Skinner will be writing a piece later this week detailing why he could still beat out Corp.
Mel Kiper stated, "I said three-and-a-half years ago, Matthew Stafford to be the No. 1 pick and I'm going on record now to say ... three years Matt Barkley - who will be a true freshman this year - will be the No. 1 pick in the draft. Three years from now.''

Busy week. Better late than never. Thanks to Lutes for the photos.

Rey unto his self while the rest of USC and UCLA are clearly divided in a huffing and yelling match. Pete Carroll will walk over and give Rey a look of c'mon Super Freak... get back over here.

Stafon about to hit paydirt.

We really love this photo. It's dreamy! The blur and the net acting as a barrier to attainability. Genius.

RoJo says, "Not today pal."

A big glorious image of PT.

Thanks to Know Your Song Girls we can accurately identify this as Jenny.

Instead of just hurdling defenders, step on them like you would a springboard. Works every time.

Here is Part I from Timothy of Murietta. Tune in tomorrow for Part II from Chris McGuire.

A pep rally in San Francisco.

We're in agreement with our new live-blogger Ben Weiss, we got your next "video game action heroes" right here.

For fear of dismemberment, we would never even mention the words "video game" near this guy — Mr. Ronnie Lott.

A rare breed indeed. If there is a scarier white dude than Brian Cushing, please let us know.

A wicked linebacker with a soft heart. You would never know it without reading TrojanWire.

*** EDITOR'S NOTE *** Congratulations to Mark who correctly guessed 14.

Shareece Wright lined up. Ready to explode.

The USC linebacking corps resembling the same awesome force brought by the fighter jets that buzzed the Coliseum before the game.

Amare Stoudemire was there. Thank god the 6'10" center/forward for the Phoenix Suns wasn't sitting/standing in front of us.

Some Hoo fan that drank his weight in beer enough to taunt Rey Maualuga from the stands, threw his power towel at him. Rey said he would stay on the field after the game if the guy cared to meet him, but then he decided to get a little creative. LenDale White wasn't impressed and said it was cold, but LenDale hadn't seen the whole altercation. Rey said he was just having some fun.

Mark Sanchez leads the huddle.

Mark Sanchez looks at the replay board from the bench.

Me and LenDale White.

"I need money"... "Pay Day"... his new bad ass Thelonious Monk look. We get the feeling Joe is going to the NFL... soon. Hey Joe?

Troy Polamalu was there (and so was LenDale White). Granted, Ellison and Mays were in pads, but they both looked twice the size of the NFL's best safety.

Part of the human wrecking crew: Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga and Kevin Ellison.

Your obligatory USC Song Girls shot.

No catches for David Ausberry this day, but we're glad we caught this moment.

Dick Butkus was Pete’s guest and addressed the team after the scrimmage by telling them:
“You guys kicked my team’s ass in the Rose Bowl last year!”
Ken Norton also introduced Dick to his two Butkus candidates, Rey Maualuga and Brian Cushing.
More pictures after the jump.
