Pete Carroll's Silver Screen Cameo
Kyle Bunch, TrojanWire
A little of the ol' "Did You Know" from Scott Wolf:
USC coach Pete Carroll had a cameo role in the 1973 Disney movie, ''The World's Greatest Athlete.'' Jan-Michael Vincent starred in the movie about a Tarzan-type athlete discovered by a coach played by Tim Conway . . . well, you get the idea.
Carroll, who played football at Pacific at the time, returns an interception 100 yards for a touchdown.
''I bet you guys didn't know that,'' Carroll said this week.
That's right -- Mr. Airwolf and Dorf on Golf. That's how Pete Carroll rolls.
