Marlon Lucky, a 5-star running back recruit from North Hollywood HS, made a verbal commitment to Big Red on Sunday; but at the Monday Morning Quarterback lunch, Pete Carroll likened a verbal commit to getting engaged--where there's still plenty of time for it to be called off before the wedding.

I can tell you first hand as a nebraska fan...you DIDNT WANT Marlon Lucky. He is horrible....a VERY soft competitor with zero ability to lower his shoulders and go north south. He is a track star, NOT a football player, and WILL NEVER BE A DIFFERENCE MAKER AT ANY LEVEL
