Irish safety set to box professionally

Rory MacDonald, TrojanWire

With the blessing of the NCAA and his coach Charlie Weis, Tom Zbikowski will be making his professional boxing debut at the legendary Madison Square Garden on June 10th.

"I'm not going to get hurt," Zbikowski said. "Just tell them to look at the size of my head. They can check my X-rays to see how thick my skull is. Nothing's going to happen."

Eventhough the Notre Dame safety pushed Reggie from the back on one of his touchdown runs, you have to admire the fact that he even caught up to him. I know we're not supposed to like the Irish, but unlike UCLA, we can respect them. And Tom Zbikowski is a hard guy not to respect (and like).

zbikowski didn't catch up to bush; rather, Bush just slowed down to taunt all those Rudy loving douchebags. Rudy sucks !!
