Hancock out for season
An MRI confirmed a torn ACL in fullback Brandon Hancock. He will be out for the season.
"It's a terrible thing. We've got Ryan Powdrell, Jody Adewale and Stanley Havili and maybe we can do some other things," said Coach Pete Carroll.
Hancock could redshirt another season, but this will be the second operation on his left knee, and he is a smart guy that may just focus on grad school and life beyond the football field.
In any case he'll probably be posting on his blog about his future.

This really sucks. This was his year to bang heads and kick ass.
It's eery too, because he just gave an interview about this coming year and how healthy he was and how good his knee felt. See it on his website: www.brandonhancock.com
I have a feeling that if he doesn't get a 6th year, he'll do so well at the NFL combines that teams will take notice. Regardless, he has a good enough head and work ethic to be successful in anything.
