Grootegoed Goes To Tampa Bay
Unbelievable that Matt Grootegoed got snubbed in the seven rounds of the NFL Draft. He was a finalist for the Butkus Award!
Grootegoed will make an impact--signing as a free agent with Tampa Bay--even if it's from the safety position or special teams.
USC cornerback Kevin Arbet also is expected to sign with Tampa Bay, tight end Alex Holmes and offensive lineman John Drake are going to Miami, fullback Lee Webb and wide receiver Jason Mitchell to Jacksonville, safety Jason Leach to San Diego and kicker Ryan Killeen to Detroit.
Grootegoed's choice will be Tampa Bay [OC Register]

I played with Matt Grootegoed when he was kid on huntington beach dolphin in junior all american Football. Can you believe his dad wanted him to play soccer
instead because he did'nt wantMatt to get hurt. Oh he was wrong. I have no doubt he will be great at tampa bay as FS,special teams, or just at practice. He
is always around the ball and gives 110%. He will be a great member of Tampa bay and I hope to see him do well.
