The 6-foot-4, 338-pound guard signed a four-year contract.
Lutui, a native Arizonian, is looking to turn things around.
Three of the Cardinals seven draft picks, Matt Leinart being one, remain unsigned.

When it rains it pours.
Denny Green and the Arizona Cardinals take USC's lovable big man, Deuce Lutui, with the 41st overall pick.

Deuce Lutui could be the first guard selected in the NFL draft.
As a young boy he visited his mother in the hospital following a tragic car accident, "She told me if I was going to do something to do it right and do it 100 percent," Lutui said.
We couldn't agree more. If you're going to bother doing something, do it perfectly. And that's the TrojanWire lesson for the day. Tune in next week for more pearls of wisdom.

Coach John Fox of the Carolina Panthers noted that there are teams that actually like Winston Justice a little better than they do D'Brickashaw Ferguson of Virginia.
"Some of the stuff he did was absolutely off the charts for a man so big. You don't see those kinds of workout numbers from a 320-pounder. He definitely helped himself."
Other OL prospects, Deuce Lutui and Fred Matua, are ready to help USC in this year's NFL draft standings, which after the successful pro day, the Trojans look to be cleaning house...

Reggie Bush in a blur on his way to a 4.33 time in the 40.

Leinart recorded a 37 inch vertical. Nice.

Old commrades, Norm Chow and Pete Carrol talk shop.

Norm Chow and Jeff Fisher of the Tennesse Titans.

Reggie may have run the fastest time, but nobody got more applause than Deuce.
Other notes:
- Nobody could believe that a 320-pound man recorded a 39 inch vertical. Winston Justice baby.
- Darnell Bing was all-around impressive but he didnt run below his listed 4.5 in the 40.
- Hate to pick on LenDale because we love him, but he only did 15 reps on the bench. (Punter Tom Malone did 14 and cornerback Justin Wyatt did 16.)

The Senior Bowl is upon us in Mobile, Alabama. And Jeff Fisher, a Trojan from the first Robinson-era and head coach of the Tennesse Titans, and currently coaching the North team this week, broke form and fed the media his ruse:
"It's clearly evident to me that my Southern Cal players are much better than his (Mike Nolan) Texas players. I don't know what happened in that (BCS) championship game a few weeks ago.''
Even if he was joking, we whole-heartedly agree.
Dominique Byrd and Deuce Lutui will represent USC this Saturday at 1:00pm (PST) on ESPN.
