Chauncey Washington is still slowed by a knee sprain suffered against Oregon. And Carroll says of the freshman's performace against Cal:
"In leaning on him and going to him, he did everything we asked him to do. He played really hard, consistently, took care of the football, made tough yards, made big plays, he did all of the things a good running back does."
No doubt USC could use power and toughness, if nothing else to dictate a physical game, but speed, speed, speed is what the Trojans will look to exploit against the Irish.
