Charlie Weis on 60 Minutes

Rory MacDonald, TrojanWire

charlie_mom_jeans.jpgAnyone catch the "Big Man on Campus" segment last night?

Notre Dame's head coach Charlie Weis has a poop mouth. A swear technique he picked up while he was an understudy of another fat man -- Bill Parcells.

But he had some favorable words about USC following that devastating loss to the Beav.

"Just by watching what they did coming back, they have a tough stretch ahead. They've played one of the tougher schedules in the country this year. People haven't talked about that but they still have Oregon and Cal and us and UCLA. That's a tough schedule. They've had a tough run."

Sounds like Charlie is buttering USC up, getting ready to eat the Trojans come Thanksgiving time... but speed still kills and no amount of turkey gravy can slow the Trojans down to the level of the Irish defense.

Sounds to me as if Weis was just trying to pump up a ND opponent in the polls, thus helping ND in the end.

Leave Charlie alone, He's not as pretty as USC's coach, but who is. I think he's got your number after last years fluke win.

he's obese and it makes me sick watching him waddle onto the field. how can anyone be so obese when they are surrounded by athletes all day???

God what a disgusting slob, this guy. Is he getting fatter? I think so.

To all you domers: Go on thinking you've got a crack at us this year. Just keep on thinking that.

Yeah but he has rings. He almost pulled it off last year and has a good chance this year. Be carful SC ND's offense is just starting to hit its stride.

Charlie Weis does swear and could stand to lose a few pounds. Irish fans, or anyone else with an ounce of college football knowledge, knew this long before the 60 minutes piece. USC has a fine little program, but it will never be Notre Dame. Get the point? No. Here is one I think even a USC fan or student can handle. When things get tough on the USC campus you can always pray to the gargoyle monkey at the Student Union. While at Notre Dame, students turn to the Grotto. I think you get it now. Back-to-back championships or not, USC will never be Notre Dame. I am looking forward to Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush in Dumb and Dumber III next year. I guess they play the part of a couple guys living in Southern California having babies out of wedlock and giving illegal crack houses to their parents. Pete Carroll plays the love interest of John David Booty. Should be a good one.

It is not about being fat, being arrogant, or their schedule- it is about being a bully. Maybe he has an excuse because he was trained by bullies and doesn't know any other way. But really, should a university with the outstanding reputation of the University of Notre Dame, employ someone in a prominent position who is clearly a foul mouthed bully? I think that the golden dome deserves better.

Fat Charlie Weis has been continuously celebrating Thanksgiving for the past 15 years.
That fat cow should graze on the long grass he grew last year that injured 3 players (2-ND, 1-SC).
