Bruins Down in Polls After USC Upset

Devon Pollard, TrojanWire

Did anyone hear that skid? That crash? No it's not Lorenzo Mata-Real hitting the court, although Daniel Hackett did give him a pretty bad hangover. No that beautiful cacophony was UCLA falling in the rankings. The UCLA Bruins have dropped to AP #8 after Saturday's home-loss to USC. Eighth is the lowest ranking the Bruins have had the entire season.

Not to mention USC now leads the conference in field goal percentage defense allowing only .382 per game, according to Pac-10 official statistics. On the same list UCLA ranks 5th.
