Breaking News: Mark Sanchez to NFL

Devon Pollard, TrojanWire

After smashing the passing record in USC's Rose Bowl victory over Penn State, Junior quarterback Mark Sanchez has decided to forgo his senior year and declare for this year's NFL draft, and Pete Carroll was not too happy about the decision. The choice to go might be strategic over anything else, as both Heisman winners Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford are returning to the collegiate field next season, so Sanchez is likely to be one of the top QB prospects in this upcoming draft.

He's making a STUPID mistake, and I hope we get some where FAR next year so that whenever he sees us kicking ass and showing every one who's boss.. he's on a sideline holding a clipboard.... or tears his ACL.. Screw Mexicans

Well, why would Carroll cry about this? Make no sense and simply looks self-interested unless he has it on some good authority that Sanchez wouldn't go high as most now are expecting.

Moreover PC is violating his own edict that folks should stay unless they'd go high first: Sanchez is going to go as the 2nd QB and as a high 1st pick. Obviously Leinart lost out on millions by not taking his shot when it presented itself. Sanchez really ought not do the same!!

Think of all the risk that Sanchez has:
1. injury, 2. new OC, 3. underperforms. And his stock is already sky-high.

More to the point, why cry about this when there's the stable of QBs. Mustain is going to awesome next year. The year after that Barkley will be awesome.

Mark Sanchez is just another misinformed, immature idiot. Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. The Trojans won't skip a beat. Mitch Mustain or Matt Barkley, the "O" will be better. A new QB and a new offensive coordinator will prove to be a much needed improvement. One good game against a week sister does not a great quarterback make. Have a nice life. Being a little full of yourself will prove to be disasterous.

Mad USC fan where do you get off with you racist remark. Your probably a frustrated looser Raider fan who jumped on the Trojan band wagon. You probably don't know anything about USC, its rich tradition or the hundreds of Mexican students that earn degrees there. Wishing that he gets hurt shows what a metal idiot you are. USC doesn't need fans like you!
Fight On!!!!
