Action News Power Rankings: Week 12

Kyle Bunch, TrojanWire

Papa Burgundy's back at home, in his apartment filled with leather bound books. And it feels out of sight, my man. But there's still work to be done.

T-Wire/Action News Pac-10 Power Rankings - Week 12

USC - Ron Burgundy1.) USC

So much for Brick and his pants party. Now it's time for the inevitable polka with #2.

Cal - Wes Mantooth2.) Cal

Ooops...somebody got whammied looking ahead to next week.

Oregon - Brick Tamland3.) Oregon

Sorry Brick. You might want to see a doctor. That didn't look good.

Oregon State - Frank Vitchard4.) Oregon State

Really should drop further after losing to UCLA -- but still have the record and big win to keep them at 4. At least for one more week.

Arizona - Champ Kind5.) Arizona

How about the crowd on the field with about a minute still to go. Just standing there alongside the players, waiting for the clock to tick out. Surreal.

Washington State - Garth Holliday6.) TIE Washington State

As I was discussing with my new friend in line at the Puerto Vallarta airport -- what has happened to the Cougs?

ASU - Brian Fantana6.) TIE Arizona State

They may not have the record, but we can't place them behind WSU after that ass-kicking.

UCLA - Veronica Corningstone8.) UCLA

The ol' girl's got some fight left in her yet.

Washington - Ed Harken9.) Washington

Ouch. You figured Stanford MIGHT get a win at some point....but you really have to pity the team who gives it to them. 20-3 no less.

Stanford - Public TV News Anchor10.) Stanford

Congrats to the Tree. Hope you took down the goalposts.
