Action News Power Rankings: Week 10

Kyle Bunch, TrojanWire

Alright you jackals, you asked for it, you got it -- here's your first ever Action News Power Rankings without Papa Burgundy in the top slot. By all means, celebrate it now, because we all know how this story ends.

T-Wire/Action News Pac-10 Power Rankings - Week 10

Cal - Wes Mantooth1.) Cal

Congrats to Wes Mantooth on turning up #1 in the ratings. But you've still got to pay Ron a visit, so don't go getting those #1 t-shirts printed up for Tightwad Hill just yet.

USC - Ron Burgundy2.) USC

Boy, that escalated quickly... I mean, that really got out of hand fast.

Washington State - Garth Holliday3.) Washington State

We'll repeat our warning from last week: Look out world -- Garth is hepped up on firewater and he's on the loose.

Oregon - Brick Tamland4.) Oregon

Pity the Division I-AA school (in this case, Portland State) who happens to draw Oregon the week after they lose to the Cougars. If it's possible, 55-12 doesn't really represent how big of a blowout this one was.

Oregon State - Frank Vitchard5.) Oregon State

We said it -- you always have to beware the feisty beaver, especially when you're at their place.

ASU - Brian Fantana6.) Arizona State

Took the party into overtime against U-Dub, came home with a W. Very sexually aroused right now.

Washington - Ed Harken7.) Washington

Tough to drop them to seven, but the London Gentleman did just beat them.

UCLA - Veronica Corningstone8.) UCLA

You almost feel for the little lady, lookin' so good one moment (all but the last 5 minutes of Notre Dame), then reduced to absolute decimation by the Cougars. And Cal this weekend to follow it up. Mama mia.

Arizona - Champ Kind9.) Arizona

Bye Week -- Whammy!!!

Stanford - Public TV News Anchor10.) Stanford

Get to play the role of stress relief toy yet again this weekend against Ron Burgundy.
